The current social situation in Armenia is the last straw for the people, Armen Martirosyan, a member of the Heritage parliamentary faction, told journalists Feb. 24.

“If people go into the streets without a leader, namely, the Opposition, it may find itself in the background, which is dangerous,” he said. The Heritage Party will not envy any other political force if that one will be able to cause the people to rise. “We will be happy. Heritage may even play the role of ‘an adhesive’ for the Armenian National Congress and the ARF-D to combine their efforts,” Martirosyan said.
