The oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) is ready to cooperate with all the political forces in Armenia to strengthen democracy, said ANC member Aram Manukyan.
Talking to the journalists on Thursday, representative of the oppositional party stressed they are ready to cooperate with pro-government parties as well.
The ANC launches rallies and mass protest actions to awake those who are complaining but do nothing to protect their rights. Not only opposition but pro-government forces, in particular the Republican Party, are discontent with the policy carried out by the Armenian authorities. Manukyan noted authorities’ political line leads to catastrophe, while the ANC is ready to assume responsibility to suspend these processes. The ANC seeks change of power, not a coup, he added.
The Armenian National Congress is an oppositional union founded in 2008 headed by first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan. Oppositional union comprises 17 political parties.
