Armenia’s former Prime Minister and parliament ex-speaker Hovik Abrahamyan has stated that he has no plot of land in the territory of Hrazdan Forest Fund.
“Yesterday [Tuesday], the RA IC [Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia] statement was publicized in connection with the privatization process of the forest fund lands in Kotayk Province,” reads the release. “In some of the media coverage of this information, the name of RA Former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan is also stressed among the persons who have acquired plot of land.
“The Orer.am correspondent today [Wednesday] contacted Hovik Abrahamyan. He noted that he has no plot of land in the specified area, and that such information is yet another slander in his address.”
As reported earlier, Hovik Abrahamyan had been summoned to the Investigative Committee.
