Europe must be more ambitious on issues such as climate change, as the path of EU unification around a single vision, said European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom during a debate at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

“We need a great debate on the future of Europe. There is no real European vision at the moment, such as the vision which moved the founders,” Reuters reported quoting Malmstrom.

According to her, “we need to find things that mobilize people, that make the heart beat faster, not just the wallet.”
