Germany and France is making fun of Italy and the EU with their treaty to give Germany a permanent seat at the UN, Italy's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said.
"They are only thinking of their national interests," Reuters reported quoting Conte. “Certainly our allies cannot believe that we will sit silently at the table to underwrite decisions taken by others.”
French and German leaders signed a new friendship treaty, according to which the priority of German-French diplomacy is the adoption of Germany as a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
