At the moment the Armenian and Russian leaders are holding a meeting in the Boris Yeltsin presidential library in Saint Petersburg.
According to the Kremlin press service, Serzh Sargsyan and Dmitry Medvedev will discuss development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, collaboration in the fields of energy, including atomic energy, and transportation.
The meeting agenda also includes discussion of cooperation within the CIS, CSTO and EurAsEC. The presidents will touch upon security and stability issues in the South Caucasus, also in the context of the Karabakh peace process.
Sargsyan and Medvedev meet on the eve of a regular trilateral meeting of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian leaders over Nagorno-Karabakh scheduled for March 5.
