YEREVAN. – Armenian Ambassador Hrachya Poladyan on Sunday met with Luay al-Khatteeb, the Minister of Electricity of Iraq.

They conferred on several matters of bilateral interest in the energy sector, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In particular, Ambassador Poladyan pointed to electricity delivery from Armenia to Iraq, and the opportunities for development of cooperation in the use of alternative energy sources.

Minister Al-Khatteeb, for his part,  informed the Armenian diplomat about Iraq’s readiness to deepen and develop bilateral cooperation with Armenia.
