The reason for the early completion of the US-North Korean summit was the demand of the US side to close the secret uranium enrichment facility allegedly located near Pyongyang, The Sunday Times reported.

Having been refused, the US side suspended talks. Shortly thereafter, Trump flew to the United States, while Kim Jong-un continued his visit to Hanoi.

As reported earlier, the leaders reached no deal as a result of the summit held in Hanoi. According to Trump, the US sanctions against North Korea will remain in force.
