On 4 March, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan received the delegation of China’s AVIC International Holding Corporation led by the Corporation’s Chief Representative for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Sin Men, reported Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan’s office to NEWS.am.

Men presented the corporation’s activities in road construction and infrastructures design and the spheres of interest in Armenia.

The interlocutors discussed issues on construction of the southern sector of the North-South Road Corridor, and the Deputy PM stated that construction of the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program remains one of the priorities of the Armenian government.

Sin Men said that, taking into consideration the corporation’s great experience in road construction, the corporation wishes to participate in construction of the road corridor’s southern sector and is ready to engage loans and grants from China under special conditions.
