YEREVAN.- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin met on Wednesday with Armenian parliament Vice Presidents Lena Nazaryan, Vahe Enfiajyan separately, the parliement reported.
Welcoming the Ambassador in the parliament Lena Nazaryan highlighted the development of the Armenian-Russian friendly and alliance relations, talked about the deepening of cooperation on the inter-parliamentary platforms, particularly in the CIS IPA and the CSTO PA.
The interlocutors underlined the necessity of the implementation of debates on the cooperation rapprochement, the enlivening of contacts and issues of bilateral interest between the namesake parliamentary Committees of the two countries.
Vahe Enfiajyan highlighted the inter-parliamentary cooperation and the joint work on the international platforms. He expressed readiness to support the further development of bilateral ties within his authority.
An agreement was reached to continue the debates in the framework of the Armenian-Russian agenda in many spheres, making frequent the meetings.
