Pope Francis received newly appointed Armenia’s Ambassador to the Holy See Garen Nazarian who handed over the copies of his credentials, Vatican News reported.
The Armenian Ambassador handed over to Pope Francis a gratitude gift from Syrian Armenians.
Former ambassador Mikael Minasyan congratulated new head of mission saying Nazarian is “one of the most experienced diplomats in Armenia”.
Garen Nazarian was appointed Armenia’s Ambassador to the Holy See in December 2018.
