By the decree of President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan, Aghasi Kirakosyan has been dismissed from the office of deputy police chief and from service in the Police.

“Accepting as a basis the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as part 3 of Article 13 and point 3 of part 1 of Article 45 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On service in Police”:

To dismiss Aghasi Kirakosyan from the office of deputy police chief and from service in the Police”, Armen Sargsyan’s decree reads, as reported the news service of the Staff of the President.

Aghasi Kirakosyan was appointed deputy police chief on 22 May 2018. Prior to that, he held the office of head of the Department for Ensuring Public Order of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
