The US President Donald Trump has no intention to order the US Justice Department to launch an investigation into its Democratic political opponents after Mueller’s report over Russian influence on the US 2016 presidential elections, White House spokesman Hogan Gidley told reporters on Sunday.

According to him, Trump “is in a good mood.”

“This is very good,” Trump said upon hearing the news, Washington Times reported. 

Trump on Sunday in Florida commented on the published findings on the results of the investigation of the special prosecutor. The US leader noted that it was illegal to press charges against him in a kind of secret cooperation with the Russian authorities and that the authorities would consider the actions of the Democrats in this regard.

Earlier, the US Justice Department submitted a report on the results of the Muller’s investigation, which states that there is no collusion between Moscow and Trump's election headquarters.
