Business Development Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) Amalya Yeghoyan is on a visit to Ethiopia as part of the delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.

During the visit to Ethiopia, Amalya Yeghoyan was hosted at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Ethiopia where she met with Minister Getahun Mekuria.

The EIF’s business development director also had a meeting with Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) Giovanni Biha.

The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Computer Sciences Department of Addis Ababa University.

“The signing of the memorandum was one of the major achievements made during the visit to Ethiopia. It envisages the implementation of educational, research and academic programs in both countries, cross-sectoral cooperation between the countries in the IT sector and the implementation of joint projects, including the introduction of the Armenian National Engineering Laboratories (ANEL) model at Addis Ababa University, the exchange of students and professors, mutual promotion of joint initiatives and more,” Amalya Yeghoyan informed.
