The Pentagon is not considering the establishment of a working group with Turkey in connection with the purchase by Ankara of the Russian S-400 missiles, said Pentagon spokesman Eric Pahon.

"A technical working group at this stage is not necessary or a path the United States is considering as a resolution," Reuters reported quoting Pahon.

As reported earlier, on April 3, speaking in Washington, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu noted that Ankara had offered the US to form a technical working group to determine that S-400 does not pose a threat to US or NATO military equipment.
