OSCE head’s proposal on unilateral withdrawal of snipers from the line of contact is unacceptable, said member of ARF Dashnaktsutyun.
Talking to the journalists on Thursday Giro Manoyan, Head of the Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) office, stressed the proposal is obscure. We cannot threaten our security amid war-like situation. “It was his first visit therefore he just decided to say something. He just did it,” Manoyan emphasized.
As regards the Karabakh peace process, ARFD member noted it yielded two results: “prevented resumption of hostilities and achieved three settlement principles: territorial integrity, right of nations to self-determination and non-use of force.”
“We must admit these three principles are result of talks. Everyone, except for Azerbaijan, realizes that right to self-determination means Karabakh must not be a part of Azerbaijan,” Manoyan said.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, during his recent visit to Armenia, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Audronius Azubalis called on the Armenian side to remove snipers from frontline.
