Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Suren Papikyan met today with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia Tian Erlun to discuss issues related to the course of implementation of the North-South Road Corridor Investment Project, as reported the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia.
“We are interested in the construction of the North-South Road Corridor, and the proper implementation of the points in the contract by both parties and the implementation of the activities with quality and according to the timetable are of essential significance for Armenia,” the minister stated.
Issues related to the increase of effectiveness of the actions of the North-South Road Corridor Tranche-3, as well as the timetable and the relevant regulations were discussed during the meeting.
In his turn, Ambassador of China Tian Erlun attached importance to the opportunities for ensuring and expanding continuity of the partnership with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia and informed that active efforts are being made to solve the current issues quickly.
