Armenia’s Minister of High Technological Industry Hakob Arshakyan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to the Republic of Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia met today and agreed to organize discussion meetings with the two countries’ sector-specific experts, technical teams and business circles in order to explore the scopes of partnership in more detail, as reported the Ministry of High Technological Industry of Armenia.
Hakob Arshakyan talked about the existing friendship between the two countries and touched upon the opportunities in the field of technology in Armenia, as well as the Armenian government’s policy and vision.
Ambassador Gonzalo Urriolabeitia mentioned the effective cooperation between Armenia and Argentina in various fields and attached importance to the expansion and strengthening of relations in the field of technology and the need for active efforts. He also presented the progress and achievements that Argentina has made in the field of technology and mentioned that the country is interested in launching discussions on cooperation.
Hakob Arshakyan stated that Armenia is open for cooperation and is willing to consider the opportunities, directions and prospects for partnership. The minister also touched upon the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) to be held from October 6 to 9 in Yerevan and invited the Argentine party to attend the major technology event.
