Chief of Staff of the Yerkrapah Union of Volunteer Land Defenders Hambardzum Asatryan suddenly died during the wide-format special session held by the Yerkrapah Union of Volunteer Land Defenders in Shirak Province, as reported Head of the Media and Public Relations Department of the Union Diana Davtyan.

According to her, Hambardzum Asatryan was feeling well before the session, but his self-consciousness sharply deteriorated and he died from a heart attack 15 minutes after the session had begun.

The Union’s chief of staff Hambardzum Asatryan was born in 1958. He had participated in the Artsakh war and made his great contributions to homeland defense.
