The nearly 17-hour delay of the Yerevan-Varna flight was due to the absence of a plane. This is what Deputy Head of the Department for Air Transportation Regulation of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia Stepan Payaslyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“There was a technical difficulty on the plane, and there was no other plane. The reserve plane approached more than ten hours later. The flight was scheduled for the morning, but it began at 12 a.m. The company’s representative said the passengers were informed and provided with food and appropriate conditions,” he stated.
