YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister said the government considers introducing criminal liability for deliberate poor-quality asphalting works.

In all those cases where asphalting works do not meet quality standards, no payments are made, and the goverment takes measures to punish the companies for poor-quality work, PM wrote on Facebook.

“There are two large sections, specifically on Yerevan-Noyemberyan highway. We are also preparing legislative changes, according to which the companies implementing low-quality works will go bankrupt and leave this industry. We are also discussing the introduction of criminal liability for the deliberate implementation of poor-quality work,” he wrote.
