Georgia suspends diesel imports from Azerbaijan, Georgian Public Television reported.

According to the source, the decision was announced at a seminar organized by the Georgian Association of Oil Importers.

From January 1, 2020, the use of Euro-4 diesel fuel will be banned in Georgia. From this date, only diesel meeting Euro-5 standards will be used in the country.

For this reason, diesel imports from Azerbaijan will be stopped in Georgia, while the diesel will be bought from Russia.
