A fire broke out at the Shirak airport in Gyumri on Friday, Armenian Ministry of Emergencies’ press service reported.
According to the source, on August 9 at 15:55 a call was received to 911 service saying that vegetation was burning on the territory of Shirak airport in Gyumri, Shirak region.
A combat crew and rescue detachment left for the scene.
The fire was localized at 5 pm.
