Azerbaijani residents of the Russian Saint Petersburg held a rally calling for “freedom to hijab”.

The participants slammed bans on wearing hijab imposed in Azerbaijani schools, as well as arrest of religious and public figures. The demonstrators also issued a statement, Salamnews website reports.
