As of early morning hours on Monday, the inspection of the trucks loaded with Armenian peaches was completed at the Upper Lars checkpoint—on the Georgian-Russian border. Anna Ohanyan, Spokesperson for the Minister of Economy of Armenia, noted about this in a Facebook post.
“The trucks have come out of the customs checkpoint,” she added.
Earlier, Spayka company of Armenia had issued a statement saying its trucks, loaded with about 200 tons of peaches, have been at the Upper Lars checkpoint for the past two days, or so.
