A man has died in hospital, after jumping off an apartment balcony in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

On Monday at 11:30am, police received a call from a hospital that a 33-year-old man was admitted for medical treatment, Armenia Police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The police officers who arrived at the scene of this incident found out that at on the same day at about 11:10am, this man had thrown himself down from the 4th-floor balcony of their building—and in order to commit suicide.

And on Tuesday, he died in the hospital—and without regaining consciousness.

A forensic medical examination has been ordered.

An investigation is in progress.
