Armenia’s Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan today told journalists that he admits that there haven’t been significant changes in the economic productivity indicators over the past two years.
According to him, the problems remain the same and are linked to the insufficient use of modern technologies and the lack of specialists who are capable of applying those technologies. “The Ministry of Economy and the Asian Development Bank are conducting situational monitoring to understand what reforms are necessary. Companies have to take the initiative to establish industrial enterprises. The government only creates conditions,” he stated.
