After consulting with our colleagues of Georgia, we decided to transfer three of those injured in the accident that occurred tonight to Yerevan today, for which three medical teams will travel to Georgia on ambulances. The Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, on Saturday noted this on his Facebook page.
“Update!” he later added. “We are transporting the 4th injured, too.”
Eighteen Armenians were affected, and two of whom died, in Saturday’s crash—in Georgia—of the passenger van that was en route from Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan to Batumi, Georgia.
