We are open and ready to accept any proposals for the package of bills we have submitted, said My Step MP Gevorg Papoyan at a meeting of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Nature Protection during the discussion of a package of bills on introducing amendments and addenda to the Law On Sanitary Garbage Collection, as well as to the Code of Administrative Offenses from the ruling bloc My Bloc.

The bill proposes to establish a fee for collecting garbage for non-residential premises, including public and industrial buildings and structures, based on the total area and at the following rates:

1. for structures and buildings where public catering services are provided, as well as domestic services for the population, and where trade is carried out with an area of 1 square meter or more. m - from 50 to 100 drams;

2. from 30 to 70 drams per 1 square meter for hotels, hotel service providers and similar buildings and structures, as well as buildings and structures intended for the provision of medical services, airports, railway stations, and bus stations;

3. for buildings and structures for industrial purposes, an area of 1 square. m. - from 20 to 50 drams;

4. administrative buildings and structures, financial organizations, various types of offices - from AMD 5 to 20 per square meter;

5. for public buildings and structures of scientific, educational, sports and cultural purposes, as well as barracks - from AMD 3 to 15 per square meter;

6. for other buildings and structures where other activities are carried out - from AMD 10 to 30 per square meter.

In addition, a legal entity will also be able to pay not on the basis of the area, but taking into account the mass of accumulated garbage - AMD 10 thousand per 1 ton. In addition, fines for the dumping of garbage in an inappropriate place for this are provided. So, for legal entities, fines range from 100 to 150 times the minimum wage.

If the violation is repeated within a year, then the fine can be up to 200 times the minimum wage.

This package of bills has already received a positive opinion of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Territorial Administration, Local Government, Agriculture, and Nature Conservation.
