A new subject Fundamentals of Consumer Rights will be introduced in Armenian schools, chair of the National Association of Consumers of Armenia Melita Hakobyan told reporters on Wednesday.

According to her, a meeting with a specialist from the Ministry of Education is scheduled on Monday to discuss details on the implementation of the pilot program.

“It will be a purely practical subject, without homework and written work. It is very important to raise the level of knowledge in the consumer sector from an early age," she said.
