Leader of Turkish Republican People’s Party Kemal Kilicdaroglu filed a lawsuit demanding 100,000 Turkish lire compensation and removal of books telling about his Armenian roots from the Turkish bookshops.

The book titled “Wishy-Washy Kemal, the son of Dersim Armenian Yemus Hanim” contains insulting wordings, he said.

Author of the book Suleyman Yesilyurt gave testimony saying he had not insulted Kilicdaroglu, Turkish Zaman newspaper reports.

Book having a circulation of 100,000 immediately appeared in the Turkish parliament.
