Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry and Swedish structure for civil emergency planning signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday.

The document was signed by head of Swedish structure Anneli Bergholm-Soder and deputy minister Haykaram Mkhitaryan from the Armenian side, emergency ministry’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The memorandum is to contribute to exchange of experience and raising public and media awareness of emergency situations.

Under the document Armenia and Sweden will cooperate within the next five years.
