The newly appointed Georgian Ambassador to Armenia Tengiz Sharmanashvili presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Friday.
Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment to the post and wished him success in his diplomatic mission, the presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. He stressed that active mutual visits contribute to the development of high-level bilateral relations.
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Premier Nika Gilauri, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili visited Armenia in 2011.Armenian Minister of Education and Sciences Armen Ashotyan has recently visited Georgia.
“I think Armenia-Georgia cooperation should strengthen and each Ambassador should contribute to development of potential between two states,” Sargsyan noted.
Tengiz Sharmanashvili emphasized he will do his utmost to improve bilateral good neighborly relations between two countries.
