Former President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak has left the country, Al Jazeera television reports referring to its sources. He has reportedly left Egypt for Germany.
Hosni Mubarak, who has been ruling Egypt for 30 years, resigned on February 11 handing reins of power to the military. Since then he and his family were staying under house arrest in his residence in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh. Earlier press reported his health is deteriorating and he was receiving medical treatment.
According to some reports, he went to Saudi Arabia to receive a medical treatment but later information was refuted by Supreme Council of Egypt’s Armed Forces.
