During his official visit to Vietnam, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Vahe Enfiajyan met with Speaker of the National Assembly of Vietnam Nguen Ti Kim Ngan. During the meeting, the parties discussed new prospects for development of the relations between both countries and attached importance to the opening of the embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Republic of Armenia.

The Vietnamese parliamentary speaker expressed willingness to contribute to the joint initiatives of the parliamentarians of both countries.

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia had a working meeting with his Vietnamese counterpart Ton Tin Fong. The parties emphasized that they would contribute to the deepening of bilateral and multilateral cooperation at the inter-parliamentary level.

Several working meetings of the Armenia-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group and the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Vietnam are also scheduled.
