The Investigative Committee of Armenia has already received the two criminal cases regarding former head of the State Oversight Service Davit Sanasaryan, as acting Head of the Information and Public Relations Division of the Department of the Investigative Committee Naira Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The criminal case in relation to the case of Davit Sanasaryan running over a minor with his car and instituted under the elements of part 1 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of Armenia is in the proceedings of the Division for Investigation of Road and Transport Crimes of the Yerevan Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia. As far as the criminal case instituted in relation to alleged extortion from Davit Sanasaryan is concerned, it is in the proceedings of the Erebuni Investigation Division of the Investigative Committee,” Naira Harutyunyan said.

The presses had spread news that Davit Sanasaryan had run over 9-month-old A. Ghevondyan near the arched entrance to building located at 4 Kievyan Street. After the news was released, Davit Sanasaryan refuted the information, and later, he acknowledged the fact that the incident had taken place during a live broadcast on his Facebook page. He had also mentioned that the child’s mother had demanded money from him and told him that if he didn’t give the money, she would tell the media that Sanasaryan had run over her child.
