BAKU. - Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev left for Ankara at the invitation of Turkish Minister of National Defense Vecdi Gonul on Thursday.
Bilateral military cooperation and security in the region will be discussed during the visit, Azerbaijani mass media reports.
Abiyev is expected to hold meetings with Turkish top officials as well.
