The US House of Representatives-adopted Resolution 296, which confirms the US position on the Armenian Genocide, is an indisputable fact. Edmon Marukyan, the head of the opposition Bright Armenia faction in the National Assembly, wrote this on his Facebook page.

"The resolution stopped in the US Senate yesterday is a different one, and it has nothing to do with the resolution that has already been adopted and has become history," he added. "Resolution 296 has failed to be stopped, and it exists today and, I repeat, is a historical fact."
