YEREVAN. - Yerevan City Hall has declared a week of cleanup and tree planting in Yerevan on April 9-16.
“I call on our citizens to join this action and show their respect for Armenia’s capital,” Mayor of Yerevan city Karen Karapetyan said in his address to the citizens.
He urged the staff of all business entities, banks, stores, gas stations, private houses, as well as international agencies to contribute to the effort, cleaning up the streets and yards around buildings.
