Participants of the protest in Tbilisi have surrounded the Parliament of Georgia on Rustaveli Avenue. After an hour of speeches demanding fair elections, the opposition called on blocking the building, reports Novosti-Gruzia.

The organizers of the protest declare that they will stay near the parliament building all night and will close all the entrances to the building. Tomorrow the parliament will hold a plenary session that the opposition plans to disrupt.

Leader of New Georgia Party Georgi Vashadze has called on police officers to not violate the law and not provoke the protesters.

Members of the European Georgia Party have already started setting up tents at Chitadze Street, which is located near the parliament.

The participants of the protests might have to spend the night in tents without any heating devices. Unlike the November 17 protest, this time the police are not letting the protesters bring barrels to light a bonfire.
