YEREVAN. - Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia reports that Sanitek International company - which used to carry out waste management in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan - has been declared bankrupt by a Bankruptcy Court ruling, and the first meeting of creditors will take place in March next year. It should be reminded that Zhoghovurd daily had written that on October 11, Mosesco LLC petitioned to the Bankruptcy Court with the request to declare Sanitary International bankrupt.
The company owes 500 million drams to Mosesco LLC, and the court ruled in favor of Mosesco's petition. On October 29, New Truck, a company involved in the import and sale of automobile spare parts, also petitioned to court with a request to declare Sanitek bankrupt. Its director Ludvig Paronyan said, in a conversation with Zhoghovurd daily, that Sanitek owes them 27 million 245 thousand drams.
“They don't connect anymore. I’m seeking, I don't find it ... The only hope is the meeting of creditors that we can meet with the management of the company," Paronyan said. Zhoghovurd daily also found out that Sanitek is a debtor of more than 60 companies.
