Three people have died after a major road accident in Lori Province of Armenia.

On November 25, at about 11:50pm, a car went off road for yet unknown reasons on the Odzun-Hagvi motorway and fell about 150 meters into the abyss.

Shamshyan.com reports that three people were killed on the spot, and one person with severe injuries was taken to the Alaverdi town hospital.

The bodies of the dead were found by police and rescuers outside the car, and their bodies were carried on stretchers and with great difficulty to the waiting ambulances.

Police are ascertaining identity of the driver, the dead, and the injured.
