YEREVAN. - A rally of the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) kicked off in the center of Armenian capital at 6:30 p.m. local time on Friday.

In his opening address to the participants Aram Manukyan, chairman of the Armenian National Movement, noted that the rally will sum up results of three year rule of President Serzh Sargsyan who has been in office since April 9, 2008.

First President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, head of People’s Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchyan, chairman of Republic party’s political council Aram Sargsyan, and heads of other parties, members of the opposition bloc, are on the platform, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported.

The Armenian National Congress is an oppositional union founded in 2008 and leaded by first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan. Oppositional union comprises 17 political parties.
