Armenia might stop publishing the names of unfaithful borrowers. The new bill proposes to annul the provision of the law on bank secret that entitled the Central Bank to publish the names and last names of unfaithful borrowers.
This is what Deputy President of the Central Bank of Armenia Nerses Yeritsyan said during a discussion on the bill on making amendments to the specified law held as part of the session of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly today. The Committee gave a positive conclusion after the discussions, and it was proposed to include the bill in the agenda for the upcoming four-day parliamentary sessions.
