Hollywood actor Robert de Niro has slammed US President Donald Trump once again, calling him a 'fake president’.

During the show with Steven Colbert, the 76-year-old actor stated that the country is “in a very serious situation”. “This is a serious situation that is similar to life in an 'abusive household'. You never know what’s going to happen next,” he said and referred to Trump as a 'fake president’, after which he received warm rounds of applause.

“He calls everything ‘fake’ because he knows he’s the one who’s fake,’ he added and said he endorses Democrat Michael Bloomberg. “Yes, I know him. I like Bloomberg. He’s a mature man. He was a mayor for 12 years. He’s done good things and is trying to do the right things,” the actor stated.
