YEREVAN. – Maintenance of political stability in the country, despite various difficulties and global financial crisis, was one of the most important achievements during Serzh Sargsyan’s three-year term as President of Armenia, Chairwoman of the Standing Committee on European Integration, MP from Prosperous Armenia Party Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

She stressed that Armenia also achieved significant progress in foreign policy over the past three years.

“As I am included in Armenian delegations at various international organizations, I noticed that Armenia’s international image has improved significantly within the recent years. The international community considers Armenia a reliable partner, which is the result of rational foreign policy,” Zohrabyan stressed. “Of course, not all problems have been solved in the country. There are many unresolved issues, but it is important that the country’s leadership tries to overcome these problems.”

Three years ago, on April 9, 2008 Serzh Sargsyan was inaugurated as President of Armenia.
