On the evening of November 26, the Turkish AtlasGlobal announced that it was canceling flights in the period between November 26 and December 21, but had failed to inform airline ticket agencies about this in advance.

Due to the sudden cancelation of flights, several citizens of Armenia returning to Yerevan are stranded at Istanbul Airport and are seeking paths to return to Armenia.

In its announcement, AtlasGlobal had stated that it would return the money paid for the canceled flights, but today, Armenia’s travel agencies failed to contact AtlasGlobal’s office and receive clarifications about the return of the sold tickets and how the Armenian passengers in Istanbul would return to Armenia.

AtlasGlobal airline company belongs to the brother of the Turkish Minister of Tourism and Culture.
