YEREVAN. - Serzh Sargsyan’s three-year term as Armenian President was “effective” and “encouraging,” said the Spokesman for Republican Party of Armenia, MP Eduard Sharmazanov.

According to him, results are obvious in the spheres of democratic changes and anti-corruption campaign.

“Over the recent years Serzh Sargsyan managed to establish a dialogue between the government and the public, creating a Public Chamber,” the MP noted.

According to Sharmazanov, the Armenian side has achieved significant progress in the Karabakh issue.

“For the first time, the principle of people’s right to self-determination was fixed in international documents on Nagorno-Karabakh,” he noted.
