Either the committee on social advertising should be closed, or it should go along the path of strengthening - expanding mandates and powers, said Armenian Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Khzmalyan during the conference on Thursday.
According to him, the assessment of the committee’s activities should be reviewed, and if the cultural product does not represent a failure of any value and is not perceived by society, does not continue its life through social advertising, then it should be abandoned, since it is not eternal by itself and has little impact on the development of society and the formation of new values.
“I think that the biggest problem that we should try to clarify today is what we mean by social advertising and what is the philosophy and function of the committee. We invite to meetings of deputy ministers of various departments, respected people, experts, and our discussion and functions end only by voting “for” or “against” based on previously published materials,” he added.
