We have demanded that Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan come down and see us. This is what President of the “Don’t Mark Us Absent” NGO Satik Khlghatyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

She didn’t talk about the organization’s future actions, but said the following: “The mothers of deceased soldiers are standing here in bad weather…I ask the old parents of deceased soldiers to go home, but they’re not going because they are expecting answers.”

Talking about the organization’s meeting with Assistant to the Prime Minister Suren Ghambaryan, Khlghatyan said the meeting was held in a warm atmosphere. “However, we know that the issue has to be solved by the Prime Minister. We received a response to our letter yesterday, but we are in an outrage since a reference is made to the board of trustees. We have no demands from the board of trustees.”

The mothers of servicemen killed for various reasons throughout the years, are holding a protest in front of the government building with the demand for compensation for their families, just like the families of those who were killed during the events of March 1, 2008 received compensation.
